Help setting up Webgizmo on iPad
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:58:04 pm »

I have download, installed and puchased a license for MC18. It works great with a USB out to my Music Fidelity M1DAC feeding my stereo. I want to control the Media Center from my iPad. I setup my Linksys router under applications & Games for start and end 52199, protocol both and IP XXX.XXX.0.12. I go to jriver.com/webgizmo.html, put in my key and then go to XXX.XXX.0.12:52199/Gizmo/mode.html. All I get is a blank white page. I'm obviously missing something.

WebGizmo is a nice proof of concept, but you really want JRemote:

In any event, you want:

Thank you, I'm new to all this and just wanted to control my music while sitting on the couch. Thanks again.

What you've done is correct and should work.  I just confirmed it works here.

The problem is probably network access.  Maybe your firewall.

There is a Network Access topic on our wiki.
