if I just let it play.  Moving between tracks and/or albums does not seem to interupt play.  I'm new to MC18 so I may need to tweak a setting or two.  I've searched the forum for the subject topic but nothing of this nature shows up.  If anybody has had this issue (and solved it) I would appreciate hearing what the solution is!!

Are these files coming off your hard drive or being streamed from somewhere else?

They're on my hard drive.

Are you actively using the computer?

If your computer is idling, the display might be going into sleep mode which will interrupt playback.

Check out the "disable display from turning off" option in the Audio settings.
