Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how I go about MJB's file association with real audio files intact.  I am currently using realplayer basic 8, and I have manually gone into the file type area and associated every real audio file option to MJB, but when ever I restart my computer, the file association goes away, and realplayer becomes the default player again.  I have also checked the "always take control of file types on startup" in MJB, but the problem still occurs. Does anyone know how to fix this lil annonying problem. I cam currently running WIN 2K Professional

Do you have a little blue speech bubble thing in your taskbar? This is the Realplayer Startcentre and it does a lot of annoying things. I think one of them is maintaining Realplayer's file associations. You can disable it by running Realplayer and going to
View-> Preferences->General->Startcentre settings

You should also disable all Realplayer's associations under
View-> Preferences->Upgrade->Media Types
