Access database as dynamic playlist
« on: September 17, 2013, 04:40:38 am »

Hi,
I have all my music data in an Access DB. Is there a way to link this database to Media Center dynamically. All changes in my database should be automatically uploaded to Media Center.
Until now I create an xml file and have to import it manually into Media Center.
Thanks

Media Center's Library is a database.  Is there something special you are getting from your Access database that you don't get from MC's ?

There is no automatic syncing capability like what you're after.  You can import MPL (XML) files, or use the MCWS to update changes, but both require manual work.

There is quite a lot Access offers which the Media Center database doesn’t. Too much to elaborate.
I’ll keep on updating manually.
Thanks anyway.
