AU Plugin support
« on: February 20, 2013, 11:19:18 am »

When can we realistically expect AU Plugin support for MC on Mac?

Welcome.

If your AU files play in the Windows version of MC, you can expect them to play in the Apple version either at initial release or shortly after.

I believe we support PCM based AU files, but not all of the other strange encoding formats like ITU-T G.722 ADPCM, etc. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Au_file_format ).

If you can post a link to an example file (maybe a shortened one or something, since that's going to be big, probably), I'll test it for you.

Thank you for your replies, but perhaps you misread my question.
I was not asking about AU File support, but AU Plugin... as in AU and VST plugins...

So there will be support? I already paid for the early bird...
