Media Editor Crashes Under Windows XP
« on: April 07, 2002, 03:11:30 am »

The Media Editor that comes with Media Jukebox always crashes under Windows XP with I do a file save.  It will complete the save, and then crash.  I have tried this on two totally different computers, with the same result.  This is version 1.1.20 of Media Editor.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't have an answer but I'm having similar problems. I downloaded the free version of 7.2 and found everything to be unstable. So I paid my 25.00$ and some things improved but I can't load a file into in Media editor whether it be a wav. file or something it has to decode. It just locks up every time. I left an earlier posting and people suggested trying version 8. But other people said it's only a 30 day deal and it overwrites the version you've paid for. As well, the download site says it's buggy. So I'm at a loss but I really want to use the editing abilities of this program. I'm a bit discouraged and still looking for suggestions.

Dina

when you select a file, do not click on "Open" just hit enter when using Windows XP and 7.2 Of MJ

it should work then.
