Hello,
I searched but could not find an answer to my problem. I am trying out MC version 18.0.106 to see if it is a viable replacement for WMC or XMBC. For me, TV functionality is critical. I do not want to switch applications to watch my local TV.

I have been trying for nearly two days an cannot get the channel scan to identify any clear QAM channels with a Hauppauge 1250 digital tuner card. I was able to scan channels in WMC, Media Portal, and NextPVR with little trouble with this card. (all but WMC have been uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller and rebooted many times.)

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't know what other information to give at this time.

My decision to purchase is dependent on getting this to work effectively.

Nope, I couldn't get it to work either despite the channels working in other programs.

Oh well, that is unfortunate. Time to move on...
