Load Library on Startup
« on: March 10, 2013, 12:01:58 pm »

I have a few different librarys that have been created.  I also automatically load MC18 upon startup of my PC.  What I would like to do is always ensure my Main Movie Library is selected by default whenever MC loads.

I know there is a /Library command I can execute.  I was thinking about putting this in my shutdown remote command.  I dont know if there is a way to insert this into the startup sequence.  There may also be a simple setup option that I am missing.

I would think this would be a common request and must be a way to do this that I cannot figure out.

Thanks

Create a simple .bat file that launches MC with the desired library.

Thanks, thats what I had done and it works well.  I use Windows Task scheduler to run on bootup.  I was just wondering if there was a different way that was built into MC18.  It already had an option to auto load - it seemed strange that it did not have a way to set default library.
