Is there a way to copy song ratings from itunes into jriver with the mac media player?

That should be possible by importing a previously exported iTunes library (xml).
I don't think that's possible right now.

Because iTunes doesn't store ratings in the files, i use a common field (composer because there aren't much common fields) to store the ratings into the files.
You can sort by ratings in iTunes and then tag the composer field according to the ratings.

After importing the files into MC you sort by composer and mass-tag the ratings in MC.

Another candidate to transfer ratings would be CD#.
That field should be cleared, however, after tagging the ratings in MC.
Otherwise your sort order on track# would be strange.
