I am frequently interrupted with "Tagging Error" pop-up dialogs while listening to music and doing other work. With a laptop, I store the majority of my media on a large external hard drive that I connect using USB. I keep copies of my favorite top rated songs on a local hard drive. When the external drive is disconnected, these pop-ups constantly appear even if I'm only playing locally stored media.

Is there a way to disable the pop-ups?

Why is MC17 trying to tag media (on my external hard drive) in the background while I'm not doing anything with them specifically?

System: MC 17.0.189, Win 7
