JRiver as controller streaming to Media Renderers
« on: December 23, 2024, 04:47:09 am »

Hello,

If you are successfully using JRiver as a controller to stream video, movies to a bluy-ray player as a media renderer, would you share your setup ?

Have a panasonic UB9000.

Set the UB9000 option to have it function as a Media Renderer.

JRiver lists the UB9000

Stream video thru JRiver to UB9000

UB9000 always displays the message - cannot play

Have tried searching the jriver wiki and network how to's,  have not been able to find info to solve the failure.

thank you

What format are you trying to stream? You can't stream a disc structure (iso).
You should be able to stream mkv's with MC's DLNA server settings set to "Original Format" unless your panasonic can't handle the format over DLNA.
