Has anyone run MJ8.400 on a Linux Distro successfully?

Information, please. I've been running MJ8 since it was released and am very happy with it. However, I'm not happy with the Windows operating systems except for XP SP3 for which support will cease in 2014. I am in the process of switching over to Linux Mint Debian Edition (a rolling Linux distro).

Has anyone be able to successfully run MJ8 on any Linux distro? Especially a rolling distro?
I've tried WINE and Crossover Linux with no good results.

I've noticed that JRiver is now offering a Mac version. Any hope for a Liux version of either media jukebox or media center within the near future??
