To better my English, I use MC to watch films. Quite often I have to re-listen the last sentence to distinguish the words.
But MC only allows to jump back 5 seconds whereas I would need a 2-3 seconds jump, too.
So I suggest making it available in the options, not just the 5-second jump.

In the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Center 18\Zones\Global\Video Settings there are two settings: Backward Jump Seconds and Forward Jump Seconds.

You can set these to any value you want.

Many thanks! BUT! I think users should not delve into the registry to make this fine-tune. So uncivilized for such an awesome program as MC!
Wouldn't take much to rectify this problem for the programmers, either...

Yes - you're right !  (odd that "Advanced" would not allow user-input integer, I just assumed that it did.)
