Flac v Wav

Letter in the TAS that arrived today, comparing flac and wav files.  My understanding is that flac  (of which I now have about 7000) files contain embedded tag information while wav files do not.  Both are uncompressed.
If I convert flac to wav will I have lost any quality (answer should be no because it's not compressed)
Where is tag info stored with a wav file? Or do I just have to do without?

Disagree with your contention that FLAC is uncompressed. The format provides data compression with no loss of audio quality.

Leave you to research it but "lossless" means "lossless". Follow the link to the Computer Audiophile blog by mitchco that's noted in my post to this thread and if you research it through, you'll see what I mean:
