MC Server Automatic Startup problems
« on: February 28, 2013, 07:27:02 am »

Hi, I just started trying out Gizmo...

I set MC to automatically start up when Windows starts. (And I checked that the service is indeed set to start Automatically at Windows start). However Gizmo will not connect to the server if the PC is running but nobody has logged in. I can only get Gizmo to connect if a user actually logs in to Windows. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong.  The function is mislabeled, and always has been.  It really is Automatically Start at User Login.

Sorry if this is answered somewhere, I have searched all over but haven't been able to find the solution.  Is there a way to run it at startup rather than at login?  I am running MC18 on a VM and only need it to serve to other devices.  I would rather not have to log in for the server to run.
