Possible Bug With Rename, Move, & Copy Files
« on: May 10, 2013, 04:33:55 pm »

Using Windows 8 and 18.0.178

In Rename, Move, & Copy Files using Find & Replace i may have found a way to make folders that windows can't use or delete.

It happened like so:

I did a find and replace on some files similar to this:
D:\CornerGas\CornerGasS01E01.avi
D:\CornerGas\CornerGasS01E02.avi

I found "CornerGas"
and replaced with "CornerGas "  <--notice the space

The files were renamed as expected but now there are two corner gas folders.
One with no trailing space that has all the files. D:\CornerGas\CornerGas S01E02.avi
and another that's empty and has a trailing space. D:\CornerGas \

I cannot delete or use this folder in windows. I get a message that says folder can't be found.
It seams MC made a folder with a trailing space.

I haven't tried repeating this because i don't want anymore of these folders.
