Black screen when starting up MC in theatre view

Hi

Recently (v 189) when MC starts up into theatre view on a fresh boot I get a black screen. In fact it's not quite black-black, but it goes a darker black after 3 seconds or so and is inoperable.  I have to Esc Esc and restart theatre view.

I've not changed anything in Options that i can recall. Video drivers updated.

Any ideas?

Please update to the latest build from the top of this board.

If the problem persists, double-check that you're not using exclusive drawing in Options > Theater View > Advanced.

Thanks Matt. What does exclusive drawing do and what us the benefit of turning it if? What do I lose if its off?

Fired up MC today and an update (v194) was automatically installed. Fired up Theater Mode, which I use for everything, and the screen went blank. After the shock, I double Esc to get out, mucked around with Options and just couldn't figure out what the heck went wrong.

After reading this threat, I turned off this 'exclusive mode' and Theater View returns. This mode was on by default on versions previous to v194 with no problem. Yet v194 unnecessarily creates this problem.
