Where can I download Season Art for TV Shows?
« on: June 08, 2013, 07:14:00 am »

I now know how to add Season Art to my TV Show collections - but I'm having a tough time finding the right art.
There is a lot of "dvd cover art" available which is the front-back cover for the DVD case, but I want the "Season" art (as shown below). Can anyone help? I need a website link.

I want this:

I get all mine at the http://thetvdb.com. Click on the individual season and you will find a number of season banners to select from. There is a link just below each of them. They are not the highest resolution though.

Thanks.
I also found a lot of Art at http://fanart.tv
but the Season Art is different than what I wanted/expected - but still very useable (as it is all sized the same).

While on this subject...

How do you add Season art to you TV show collections?
At the moment, mine show a thumbnail from an episode.
I also have the images of the covers stored in each series main folders.

BTW - the TVDB website has better Season Art.

Here's what you do.
1) Find the location where your Cover Art is stored (look at Tools>Options>File Locations Cover Art. Mine is at G:/Cover Art
2) There will be some subdirectories under Cover Art (such as G:/Cover Art/Albums and G:/Cover Art/Series), creat a new subdirectory under Cover Art called "Seasons". So you will have a G:/Cover Art/Seasons now.
3) Download the season art and rename it the same as the Series name you are using. So for my "The Big Bang Theory" series, I save the season art as "The Big Bang Theory - Season 1.jpg" and "The Big Bang Theory - Season 2.jpg" and so on.

MC will then use the Season Art when displaying in Theater View. Of course you have to have Theater View setup to display your Seasons rather than one long list. I do it this way:
