Audio glitch on changing tracks
« on: June 16, 2013, 09:47:56 am »

I'm getting a strange audio glitch on switching tracks - it all happens very rapidly but the current track stops but then a very small bit of the end of that track is replayed before the next track starts.

I remember someone else reporting the same issue but I can't find that post now.

I have two PCs and it happens on one but not the other. Both are integrated Intel HD audio in Core i7 Ivy Bridge. I've made all the output settings the same on both PCs and then played around with the one that's causing trouble, but to no avail.

The only difference I can see between the two is that the one that works is outputting via the analogue audio jacks where the one that produces the glitch is outputting via SPDIF.

Does anyone know what the solution might be?
