Standard View for TV Shows
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:02:23 pm »

Hi Guys,

Been trying to do a customized view for TV Shows the last 2 weeks but been unsuccessful.

Basically, want to see the following view under Video > TV Shows

Genre > Series (TV Show Series) > Season (#) > Episode (#)

Hopefully, somebody has an existing template/view.

Thanks Much.

Does this do what you want?

The "edit search" dialog box is brought up via Set rules for file display…

I guess this is close enough.

I was hoping that in Standard View - Thumbnails it would start with Genre > Series > Season > Episodes and just branch down and view everything.

I would still have to "drop-down" on the Explorer view (left panel) to get to Series > Season > Episodes.

Thanks Much.

You can add more categories under Show Categories In This Order.

The view type create above is a Categories view - you'll drill down as deeply as there are categories essentially.

You don't need to use the File Tree on the left (or the Drives & Devices > Explorer).  Many of us use it only to select a view type, and all navigation is done from the view's categories or panes.
