I have just added a TV tuner card to my PC and am trying to customize the Theater View display for live tv. I have done plenty of customization before on the Info Panel and Templates but this does not seem to apply if I add a Template for Media=[TV]. For instance I can't change the caption. The caption changes and may append a description from the Program Guide if there is one.

If there is Program Guide data the Tvinfo() fields change of blank out. For example, tvinfo(channel) is blank if there is no program guide data, if there is program guide data it will contain the channel number. I don't know why it goes blank, the channel name never changes.

Anyone ever customize this?
