gizmo <-> jriver with composer
« on: June 29, 2013, 03:29:32 am »

hallo

20k+ files in one library.
gizmo didn't notice the rules i implemented within mc...
within mc18 i create a new view: " klassisch" shown are just grene "classic" sorted by composer.
as expeced only classic files are shown, sorted by composer ;-)
so, within mc all is fine. gizmo shows me the new " klassisch" view, too. but also every non-classic file.
next step: for better usability i delete everery "composer" tag in non classic files.
but gizmo is still fullwith no-classic file within the " klassisch" view.

is this a bug?
any idea to fix that or a workaround?

regards

Did you create the new view twice, once in standard view and once in Customise Views For Gizmo?  If so, you may have made a mistake in setting it up the second time. Check carefully the configuration. Alternatively, delete the view in Gizmo and then add it again using Add Library Item from Standard View, so that it is an exact copy.

All views for Web{Gizmo} are defined under:

Tools > Options > Media Network > Advanced > Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo

Define your views there.  You may need to restart MC and restart navigation from the root level on your DLNA device.

See above!

Also...

UPNP devices use another set of views!  These are created in the DLNA options in Media Network. You will have to set up your customised views in each area that you want to use them:

1. Standard view
2. Theater View
3. Gizmo
4. DLNA

The more options you have, thr more complicated it is.
