Smartlist
« on: July 12, 2013, 12:51:48 am »

I have made a smartlist of all comedy TV Shows.

Is there a way (in Theater View) to start the playlist and 'Play All'?
I know when playing Audio the Play All option is there but for some reason in Video all there is, is 'Play' which only plays 1
show.

What I am trying to do is start the comedy video playlist and let it play show after show unattended.

I  have it as a nested item under Video and listed as 'TV Comedies'.

Lastly, on another note, is there a way to click on one of your music playlists and have it start playing (rather than taking you to the next menu)? I would not want to make the change globally though. Just for the music playlists.

When you are at the smartlist level (not the file level), hit Space.

Thanks for the suggestion but no keyboard on this machine.

With another software I was using, when assigning a function to a button, it would sense the Playlist and ask if you wanted it to start playing when clicked. Just was wondering if MC had such an option.
Thanks

There might be a way to do it, but I don't have a remote setup, so someone who does might be able to help.

You can assign button presses in MC, but of course, you'll need a button on the remote.

You might want to change the Subject to "Start playlist with Remote".
