Failed to Initialize tuner error

Hi There

Since the recent couple of builds i am getting an error with my tuners. If i click into "configure tuner" an error comes up "failed to initialize tuner" so at the moment out of my 3 tuners i can only use one of them.
This has only started since the builds after 18.0.129. What has changed?

Any ideas?

Same here, probably that's why I can't scan any channels. DVB-S does not work.

Anyone from JRiver know about this problem? Like i said i can easily fix the problem by going back to an earlier build 18.0.129 everything since this has the 'initialize tuner error' if i select the 2nd or 3rd tuner

I do not know what happened.  Build 129 had a fix that actually fixed some previous problems, including scanning problem.  There has been little or no change specifically in TV code.  Other code changes may cause TV problems, but are harder to track down.  Can you email me a log?  yaobing at jriver dot com

I am trying Television with JRiver MC for the first time, and kept getting this error on the same sort of stick sold by JRiver.

I tried various USB ports but same error.

I downloaded TSReaderLite, and it worked fine with the stick.

Then I saw this thread, reinstalled 129 (which I had been using up until Saturday) and now it is scanning just fine.

Thanks for fixing this issue. If possible, please put into the to-do list the DisEqC A/B issue (the one that requires another application to work properly).

The problem is fixed in MC 18.0.146 available on MC 18 board.

Thanks!  I just installed my antenna in the attick of my new house and couldn't figure out what was up.  Updating fixed it  ;D

Using v18 206,  Hauppage win TV 7164 BDA tuner is recognised, but scan for DVB-T channels comes up empty..

Using v18 206,  Hauppage win TV 7164 BDA tuner is recognised, but scan for DVB-T channels comes up empty..
