JRiver Media Center Service (in Windows) ?

It would be helpful to know exactly what functionality in MC18 requires "JRiver Media Center [Windows] Service" to be running.

It would also be helpful to know which Microsoft Windows Services are required by MC18 in general.

The Media Center service is used primarily for remote blasting, since only a service has permission to send out the IR port.  It only runs when MC is running.
