How to remove old library entries
« on: July 24, 2013, 11:28:33 pm »

I purchased a larger drive and copied the files from the smaller drive to the newer larger drive.  I then physically removed the smaller drive from the system.  When I run MC go to videos files I now see each library entry twice.  Once on the new drive and again on the old drive that is no longer present.  The old entries have a yellow icon next to them.

How do I get rid of the old entries in the library.  I guess I need some sort of batch process that says all entries on drive x remove them.

You can sort by the Filename column, and select all the items from one path.  Or you can use the Search wizard to define the old Filename (path).  This will present only the old files, and you can select and Delete.

Okay.  A slight variation, I added a new category 'volume name' and then listed files on that volume, selected all and delete.

Thanks for the quick reply.
