high resolution files to RA Cantata
« on: July 31, 2013, 04:38:52 pm »

Hi there,
this is my first post here.
I'm trying to find out what my options are. ATM I'm using a Win7 64bit PC with JRiver 18 as server. It is the only software that recognizes my Resolution Audio Cantata as a renderer (no luck with BubbleUPnP) so I'll probably will continue to use it this way. I've been fairly successful in playing 16/44.1 files on it, but whenever I play flac or higher resolution files I get nothing. So I have two questions:

1) How do I fix this? It probably has something to do with some configs, but I can't find where I might be going wrong.
2) Is there any other way to control the files other than Gizmo. Gizmo is a little too limited, since I can't see the files information on it.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards
André

Welcome to the board.  You can tell the server to convert files to a format that your device supports.

Gizmo should show file info.  What do you need?

Hi JimH,
thanks for a very fast reply.
My device supports all files up to 24/192, so it shouldn't have a problem with any of the files.
Where do I find information in regards to file type and/or filepath on Gizmo?
Best regards
