Media Jukebox went "Not Responding" when registering
« on: March 17, 2002, 03:14:43 pm »

I submitted my cc info via the program (8.0 227 build), and after clicking to submit it, the program went "not responding".  How do I proceed from here?

If you're behind a firewall, try disabling it. Or, try purchasing from a different computer and backup your license and restore on the first computer.
If that doesn't work, email me and I'll take a look at it in the morning.

Unfortunately, my firewall is within a router and really can't be disabled.  Same scenario at work, if I were to try from there.  I'll e-mail you, and perhaps we can work something else out. Prior to reading your reply, I tried again.  You don't think my info's been transmitted twice, do you?   Thanks!

if you did not get the registration, your card will not be charged.

if you could remove the router (just for now) and go straight to provider, it should work, once done, then hook the router back up.

I would consider that if it was easily accessible, but trust me, it wouldn't be easy.  FWIW, I'm sure this is a very secure method to ensure the app is properly registered, but I suspect this kind of issue could come up quite often. I e-mailed John, and hope some alternative means of getting a license key is possible. Next Page
Thanks you (and John) for the prompt replies this evening.
