I have ripped my DVD's to "video TS" and blurays to BDMV folders. In my experiment with particles I had little success. User error or ?  BTW, my movies and concerts play fine, but to be honest I follow a set of steps without much understanding of what is really going on. I looked in the wiki and the particle info is from v17 - still relevant or not so much?

I guess what I'm asking is there a beginners guide to successful particle set up?
