Cannot uninstall MC 18

Hi,
I have installed MC 19 and now I want to uninstall MC 18, but nothing is happening when I choose/click the uninstall feature in Windows 8 > Programs and Features. The system doesn't react. What could be the issue here?

This will be fixed in future version.  As a work around, open 18 before trying to uninstall it.

When uninstalling MC 18, what uninstall procedure options should I enable/disable considering that I want to keep MC 19, which is already installed?

FYI, I just upgraded MC 18 to MC 19.0.67 and I also find nothing happens when I try to uninstall MC 18. I can wait for the fix which hopefully keeps the registry uncluttered.

Run MC18 once, then uninstall it.
