Having troubles getting started for Mac
« on: August 22, 2013, 12:22:21 am »

So on a recommend from a sales person I purchased the Mac version Media Center 18. I downloaded as directed but only received a 3k file. When I try to open it says ""Packageinstaller" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."

Then I went to the boards and found entries that said download beta version: http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v18/latest/MediaCenter180211.dmg
That downloaded a 42mb file but when I click on the file I get “Media Center 18” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer".

Can someone please tell me where I may have taken the wrong turn? I'm really looking forward to experiencing MC.

Thanks,

Right-click to Open.  You'll get the option to run then.
