How to get Listing of Library
« on: March 16, 2002, 03:49:32 pm »

How do I get a listing of my media library?  Preferably I would like to export the list to Excel so I can sort it and do other things with it.  I've discovered that if I go to the Media Library View, I can "select all" on the listed files and copy to Word or Excel and it gets me pretty much what I need except that the "Name" Column has mostly "0"s in it.  The other columns seems to be OK.

Thank you.

Does anyone know if you can change background colors or insert pictues or overlays using this?

Example- Say you want to select an album from the album node and have it display cover art in the same window as the list. Or have the background a different color than white. Or maybe overlay the track listings over the cover art. Or have I just been sitting here to long looking at this rotten computer.

Easier way,

1. Select files you want to export to Excel
2. press Ctrl|PLS|C to copy contents to clipboard
3. Open Excel and press Ctrl|PLS|V
