I am streaming a movie to my LG Smart TV.

For short movies (or shows), everything works fine.

But if the movie is biggish (8GB+), the TV keeps freezing and loading every few minutes.
It un-watchable.

I have changed the DLNA settings for Video to convert to "MPEG2/DVD NTSC Stream".
Now the TV is able to stream without loading all the time. WHich is awesome.

But I am not able to skip ahead or behind, if I do that I am not able to start again.

Any suggestions on how to solver the Loading issue in a better way ?

I also tried with the TV connected via ethernet cable and I have the same issue (so its not a WIFI issue).

So I guess my question is, when I convert video to a specific format ("MPEG2/DVD NTSC Stream" or other),
is there any way to get skip forward to work ?

I'm not sure it would help, but you could try a few different output formats?
