Conversion cache/handheld track order problem
« on: August 31, 2013, 02:07:42 am »

Hi,
I have a problem that I can't seem to find a solution to. Have added SD card as handheld, to use in my car. In the conversion track order is changed to alphabetical. So when i open the folder the tracks are in alphabetical order. In the upper right corner there is a dropdown menu where different sorting principles can be selected, and the default is 'Folder'. When I change to 'Track' they return to track order in the conversion cache - and one would think, problem solved. Because the files on the SD card still is in the wrong order, I erase everything and manually move the folders in the conversion cache (that I've now changed to track order as described above), but in that transition track order is lost, and again the tracks are in alphabetical order.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening other than manuall renaming each and every file in my library (would take days!)

As I think you'd agree, having the tracks in the wrong order, is something of a road safety problem, aswell as just plain annoying ;-)

Grateful for any suggestions,

Erling

Привет Эрлинг!
Это значит , что твое устройство в машине не читает тегов.
Тогда надо номер трека поставить в название.
Пример: "01. Hi Up Down.wav"

P.s.
Или меняй устройство в машине, или пронумеруй вручную!

Hello Erling!
It means that your device in the car doesn't read tags.
Then it is necessary to put number of a track in the name.

Example: "01. Hi Up Down.wav"

P.s. Or change the device in the car, or number manually!
