Tweakers.Net is the largest dutch technology news website with one of the largest community forums in dutch. I've been an active member since 2006.

These community forums contain a wide range of topics for applications, including topics sharing experiences, tips and basic support for XMBC and other Home Theater Software.

I search these forums regularly to see whether there are people asking or talking about JRiver MediaCenter but this rarely happens. Since there are topics for competing products, I figured it was time for a JRiver MediaCenter topic. Completely in dutch I took most information directly from the wiki and translated it, focusing the opening post on MC's strong points, or selling points if you will; basically the things that differentiate you from the rest. I'm hoping this will help spread the word about JRiver MediaCenter among the noble dutch people  ;).

The topic is meant mainly to spread the word and answer questions about functionality, whether it can do things program X can do etc and allow general discussion. For support, I will direct everyone to Interact.

Although its in dutch, I'm sure you'll get the general idea. For the dutch speaking members here, maybe you can help get the topic going by posting a reply.

Hallo,
Ik gebruik sinds 2018 JRiver en het bevalt me prima. Ben aan het proberen wat info aan het verzamelen via YabbWiki en ik heb de indruk dat de installatie op mijn iMac niet helemaal volgens de regels is verlopen.
Gebruik vanaf 2020 JRiver 27, na het downloaden in de programmamap geplaatst. Ik zie ook enkel het programma en geen map waarin JRiver. Heb wat andere skins dan de standaard skins gedownload maar ik kan ze niet niet kiezen en weet ook niet waar ik de gedownloade bestanden moet plaatsen om ze te kunnen gebruiken.
Op het forum wordt gesproken over een map JRiver in de programmamap waarin diverse atributen staan waaronder een map met skins (die ik dus niet heb.
1 Hoe kan ik dat alsnog voor elkaar krijgen?
In mijn bestanden (klassiek) staan nog teksten zoals no, 5 (bv bij symphony no. 5 ed die ik zou willen verwijderen.
2 De vraag is hoe ik dit geautomatiseerd voor elkaar krijg? Mijn bib bevat inmiddels zoń 5000 bestanden dus liever geen handwerk.
Heb je voor mij wat suggesties?
