It would be really useful if there was some way to see a list of which files have pending tag changes, so that you know what files are write-locked if some of them are "hanging".

I'm thinking if you double-click on the status bar message, it should pop up a list box of some kind.

Right now, there's no way other than to force MC to close and then look at the progress bar message or log.

I've suggested something similar in the past, to have some sort of log to see what background processes are doing, including auto-import and this saving tags you take as an example.
