Updating to 18.0.217

I have MC for Mac 18.0.216. I have updates set to latest, when i click check for updates I see a message "An update is ready to install." I then click Install(program will restart) and nothing at all happens. Is this a bug, I saw under the post heading that it says to use update to get latest version. If I download .217 will it overwrite .216 or keep both on my system?

Nevermind, I restarted manually and then it prompted me for .217.
