Best Settings For Audio Playback

For flac & Iso playback...   please provide specific settings that are excellent.  (I want a list.)  Computer is Win7 w/ Realtek.  Thank you

If you mean Realtek chip built into motherboard, then you would get more benefit from a USB DAC like Schiit Modi or HRT MusicStreamer for $100-$150 than by changing settings.   For the pennies that motherboard makers pay to Realtek for those chips, it is amazing that the quality is as good as it is.

I wanted a listing  of best settings... Win7, realtek,
out put to Emotiva 6 (great speakers w/eac seperate built in amp.)  TU.

The wiki has great info on output modes and settings. Please have a look here and here.

I don't think anyone can give you a definitive set of settings that is best for you. It's best you have a play around with these links and other wiki pages and come to your own conclusions. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask.

If there were settings that were clearly "best", then the program would just be setup to have those settings, and not have a way to change it.

For example, refrigerators do not have a setting that gives you two options:

* Keep the temperature constantly the same
* Let the temperature go up and down a lot

because the first one is obviously the best...
