Burson HA-160D via USB. Source is 44.1kHz 16bit and not 96 kHz 24bit. Why?

(1/1)

Hi there.

My Burson HA-160D DAC/AMP is opened with
exclusive access (device settings) and connected with a USB cable.

In the DSP Studio, Output Format, the device source is 44.1kHz 16bit 2ch.
I believe it is supposed to be 96 kHz 24bit 2ch.
Why is it wrong? (if it is)

Thanks.

Did you play a 24/96 material while you checked it? Output format shows the resolution of the source file not the dac...
