License restore

I have upgraded to Win 2000 from Win 98 and when I seek to restore my MJ license I get the message "Media Jukebox was unable to determine the product name from the license". How do I persuade it to accept that I have paid?

If you have it on a floppy you can restore it from Help/Restore License in MJ.  Please see the FAQ here.

What is the file name and what version of MJ do you have?

You must make sure that your license backup file has not been renamed. Your file needs to be called MediaJukebox7.rrg

Many thanks. I had renamed the file MediaJukebox7-license-backup.rrg to make clear what the file is. Without the extra bits it works.  Peter Finch
