Suddenly I can't play videos. [solved]
« on: September 19, 2013, 02:20:25 pm »

All of them, which previously worked, now all get stuck at "*opening"
I can't see what the matter is.
But I did enable onboard sound in Windows. Can't see how that might effect anything.

By the way, vids still play in WMP, if that helps.

After a system change, make sure audio playback works.  Then move on to video.

Audio still good...
Disabled onboard audio in device manager...no change with video.

If you just upgraded to 19 make sure the file "types" (such as m2ts, mkv, etc.) you want to play are selected in Tools>Option>File Types.

Been running 19 the whole time...
AND later last night, started a video and it played fine. Oh well...
