Trouble setting up output format
« on: December 27, 2013, 11:07:16 pm »

Hi, I have just installed J river and have couple of questions, I will post first one here, I have Focal XS 2.1 connected via USB and I' m having trouble setting up output format, if I select channel as 2.1 it does not read as 2.1 and changes it to 2 channel stereo every time how to fix this problem??

It will be a stereo device rather than 2.1, and handle the crossover to the subwoofer itself.

The "2.1" option is for when you're sending audio to a multichannel AVR.

ok. Also my next question I have a Fiio O9K AND O7K connected to my headphones as another device, what output sample rate should I select as no matter what I do for my Focals it changes to 48k and for Fiio nothing beyond 96k, also one last question is there a way to configure WASAPI settings??? Thanks again I appreciate

You can set up separate zones for each device.
Sample rate controls are found in Player → DSP Studio → Output Format and are saved on a per-zone basis.
