Cannot delete Library

(1/2) > >>

Ian M:
Just installed 19, previously been using 18. For some reason I now have two main librarys called main and main (1) with these paths:

users/xxxxxxxx/Library/Application Support/JRiver/Generic/Library
users/xxxxxxxx/Library/Application Support/JRiver/Media Center 19/Library

I can neither delete or hide either of them, I'm not sure whats going on here. the library I use is one I added so I dont want to use these ones. Any advice please.

JimH:
Make sure you don't have your MC19 library in the same directory as the MC18 library.  You might clear the MC19 library (afer backing it up) and restore an MC18 library in MC19.

Thanks, the one thats labelled Generic, has that been created by 18 or 19?

There shouldn't be one labelled Generic.  That folder is only used if the program fails to load its name, version, etc. (which should never happen).

If you delete it, does it come back?

I am unable to delete in the library options? It is greyed out. If I delete in finder it still is recreated when I start up again.
