In MC18, Alt+Enter changed Display to Tag and kept the same size. When I do Alt+Enter in MC19, Tag moves to the top and obscures everything else with a large blank area below it. Am I missing something?

Is this what you are referring to?

There is a sort of down arrow like a "V" near the X to close the tagging window. That should reduce it to a smaller size.MC will remember the choice afterwards. This was like that in 18 too.

The empty space I think is because you are only showing a small number of the tags (default tags?) if you choose tags with values or show all tags there won't be a lot of blank space

Yes, I'm using the default tags. You got me on the right track. I didn't think that the "minimize" next to the [X] would work because I thought it would collapse the Tag box totally like "Display" and "Action Window" work, but it worked fine. There just isn't any way to  get Tag back if you minimize, only the [X] is possible.
