System Volume Control

I'm curious about this.

How do you use MC so that this difference between a fine step (64) volume control and a 16 step one is of importance?  I don't mean to come across as anything but curious but how are you using the player where this is important?

Next build:
Changed: Volume up / down commands from hot keys (volume keyboard buttons, remote, etc.) work in 5% increments instead of 1% increments.

Just as a day-to-day media player.  I hit the volume up/down buttons on my keyboard and it takes forever to make a difference in the sound.  I may turn the volume up to take a phone call on Google Voice, then go back and hit play in MC, the music is really loud, so I hit the volume down button and it takes 5 seconds to go from 100% to 50%.  Where as with VLC open, I go from 100% to 50% in 1 second.

I see.
Yeah I can see where that could be a source of frustration.
