ASIO problem
« on: October 04, 2013, 11:52:18 am »

Hi, I'm using JR19.050 with Win7 64 and in tools-->options-->audio device I don't see any ASIO listed. What's listed is: XMOS XS1-L1 WASAPI, XMOS Audio 2.0 output(kernel streaming) & XMOS XS1-L1(direct sound). My DAC works fine with WASAPI but it is supposed to work with ASIO. I've installed/un installed the supplied TUSBAudio drivers several times but still no ASIO in JR. Any ideas?

thanks in advance!

If it's not showing up, the most likely explanation is that no 32-bit ASIO driver is installed.

They get installed here in the registry on an x64 machine:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ASIO

No actually.  Unless that entry points to something that won't load.

Can other programs see the ASIO driver?

forgot to say that I can also select "JRiver Media Center 19" in Foobar under output-ASIO-ASIO drivers and it plays fine. It's just not showing up in JR.
