MC19 is hanging when I click on Artists [solved]

When I open MC19 it is on albums, and I can play an album.  When I try to switch to the Artist view it is consistently hanging and I have to force quit.   I just 'upgraded' to 19 today.  

Do you think this may be a problem because I am still running on Snow Leopard?  I did not have this problem in MC18.

Please get a log file and send it in.  I'm on SL and have very similar issues.

Good news ver 53 has cleared up this problem. :)

Thanks for letting us know, and sorry about the problem.

The root cause is a little hard to explain.  Basically there was a lock order issue that could get triggered in thumbnailing when running with INI files for settings (any non-Windows MC, or portable install MC on Windows).
