any risk to library with media server running?
« on: October 09, 2013, 11:17:22 am »

I am wondering about the implications of leaving media server running all the time.

If I do a bunch of adds or changes to my library and then close MC, but leave media server running in the background, are all the library changes saved and closed to disk so that in the event of a power failure or windows crash my library will be secure?

Put another way, is it wise to close media server after making library changes?

There's no need to close Media Server.

It's lightweight and has no implications on data integrity.
