DLNA zones not seen on pc's
« on: May 30, 2014, 11:41:50 pm »

Media center 19 on a pc with win7.  DAC on pc.  Plays fine
Media center 19 on a second XP PC. NO DAC or sound card on XP pc but seems to work ok ( based on equalizer display, start, stop, etc)

Previously could get the xp pc to see the win7 as a zone.  Could not get sound out of the win7 however under this configuration.

Rebooted entire network, both pcs etc.

Now win 7 still plays fine through DAC but

xp pc does not see a zone on the win 7 pc and win7 pc does not see a  zone on the xp pc.

Both pcs configured to be media servers and DLNA.  Different Access keys

Anything else to do to make a zone "appear" on the other pc?  (And then to play music on the win7 device)

Thanks

Are you loading the library of one on the other?  The choices are under Playing Now, in the lower group.
