Mavericks? Maybe best to wait a few days.
JimH:
We're seeing some problems, but so are others:

mercman:
No crashes on 2 Macs. Your latest software has had no issues for me other than the question of integer support.

Have been using Mavericks for almost 4 weeks and have had very few problems, no more than Mountain Lion. Ignore the article.

As anyone done a benchmark before/after installing Maverick to see if there is a change in speed?
Other audio programs are suggesting to wait.

Also,

• Possible speed decrease with the operating system and applications
• Safari may use abuse the CPU
• Audio stutters
• Flash audio issues

You can find JRMC19 before,Mac OS 10.8.4/10.6.8, and after, Mavericks, for MC build 19.0.60 on this thread.
The good news is the optimizations made in 19.0.60 improved performance benchmarks of MC relative to all previous MC releases for Mac OS.
The interesting news is it would appear that performance benchmarks were slightly better under pre-Maverick OS's.
